Our expert teachers have an unparalleled passion for early childhood education and many have been with our school for more than 15 years.
We embrace the Reggio Emilia view that teachers are researchers who learning alongside their students, and staff development is vital to continued growth. Collaboration is essential to our leadership model, and teachers meet each week to discuss ways to better bring Judaism, Reggio-inspired education, and best practices into the classroom.
Every classroom has a teacher who holds or is working towards a master’s degree. Our staff includes a full-time studio arts teacher, an environmental educator, music and movement specialists, a librarian, and a consulting psychologist. Experienced with children at various stages in their early development, our teachers give attention and care to each student and respond to their individual needs.
The ECC is a model for early childhood education, and our teachers are considered leaders in the field. We regularly receive visiting educators from schools around the country.
