Looking for a great Jewish summer camp in New York for kids 2- to-4-years-old? Staffed by our experienced teachers, the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue Early Childhood Center summer program is available both for children enrolled in the school and neighborhood children who are interested in a fun, warm environment that fosters learning through play. The program gives children access to many of the school’s resources, such as our rooftop and indoor playgrounds, art studio and state-of-the-art water machine. Children can look forward to summer projects, outdoor gardening experiences, community-themed days like “Pajama Day” and “Carnival,” and weekly Shabbat celebrations.
For children who attend the ECC year-round, the summer program provides an opportunity to build relationships with teachers and peers they’ll see during the upcoming school year within a familiar environment.
Juniors Camp Programs
Juniors (18 months–2 years)
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30–11:00 a.m
Priority is given to families entering the ECC in the fall.
Our Juniors Program offers an opportunity for incoming toddlers joining the ECC community, along with a trusted grown-up, to get to know the school environment, begin to become comfortable with classroom routines, and meet other children and teachers they’ll be seeing in the coming school year. The Juniors Program is also a wonderful taste of the ECC for those interested in learning more about our school. Our Juniors program will run for six weeks beginning on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Summer Camp will begin on Monday, June 23, 2025, and run through Friday, August 1, 2025. Camp will be three or five days a week, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children may attend weekly for a minimum of two consecutive weeks or for the full six-week session.
These classes are designed for children who have already attended a school separation program. Classes may be mixed-age depending on enrollment.
Summer 2025 registration is open, but space is limited. Late registration does not guarantee availability.

Registration Fee
- Synagogue Members: $70 (non-refundable); $95 after March 23, 2025
- Non-Members: $85 (non-refundable); $110 after March 23, 2025
- Deposit: $200 (non-refundable and credited toward tuition)
Registration forms are due by Sunday, March 23, 2025. Forms received after this date will require an additional $25 to be processed.
Summer Program fees must be paid in full by May 27, 2025, and are non-refundable.

Three Days Per Week, Tuesday–Thursday
- Member rate: $620/week
- Non-Member rate: $650/week

Register for all six weeks by February 3 to get early bird rates on camp fees!

- Member rate: $5,445 ($5,340 by Feb. 3)
- Non-Member rate: $5,965 ($5,850 by Feb. 3)
Three Days Per Week, Tuesday–Thursday
- Member rate: $3,715 ($3,645 by Feb. 3)
- Non-Member rate: $3,890 ($3,815 by Feb. 3)
