Details

When:
Sunday, Feb 11, 2024
Time:
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

On the eve of the Holocaust, more than 3 million Jews lived in Poland. Today, hundreds of Poles — with meager resources and on their own initiative — are devoted to preserving the memory and celebrating the culture of the Jews who once lived in their towns. Join Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Ronald S. Lauder Chief Curator of the POLIN Museum’s Core Exhibition, to learn more about these efforts to fight antisemitism constructively and to meet a few of these people.

This program is sponsored by the Antisemitism Task Force and The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
