Join us in celebrating Black History Month as we explore the friendship and shared legacies of the African-American and Jewish communities during the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
We’ll send you a link to screen the documentary “Shared Legacies” on your own time. Rabbi Sam Natov will moderate a discussion with the film’s executive producer Lisa Weitzman, and director and writer, Dr. Shari Rogers; along with The Temple in Atlanta’s rabbi emeritus, Dr. Alvin Sugarman, and civil rights, and climate justice activist Rev. Dr. Gerald Durley, who were both featured in the documentary.
The film will be available to all those who register after Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m until the beginning of this program.
