Join Stephen Wise Free Synagogue for a special Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat with the future leaders of Israel’s military and police!

In partnership with the consul general of Israel in New York, 50 of the highest-ranking officers from the Israel National Defense College are coming to New York to get to know more about diaspora Jewish communities like ours.

And at an exclusive dinner following services, some of our members will have the rare opportunity to hear firsthand from senior Israel Defense Forces and police officers about Israel’s security situation and what it’s like to serve on the front lines. We encourage families to bring their older children — especially teenagers and college students — for this unique chance to meet Israeli soldiers.
