Join us on Columbus Ave for our first-ever Sukkah on the Streets! All day on Sunday, October 20, on Columbus and 72nd Street, weโll have family activities, music, and celebration in our mobile Sukkah. All are welcome to drop in for special activities set for different groups through the day, including a Tot Sukkot sing-a-long in the late morning and a model Sukkah-building competition for middle schoolers in the afternoon.
11:00 a.m.ย Children in grades K-5, and their families, are invited to join us for model Sukkah-making and creating a โKindness Chainโ for our Sukkah!
11:45 a.m. If you love Tot Shabbat, you wonโt want to miss Cantor Dan’s music-packed Sukkot celebration! Recommended for ages 0-5.
12:45 p.m. Our oldest Religious School students (and any guests from the community in grades 6 and 7) will kick off Part 1 of our SUKKAH FACE-OFF competitions!
2:00 p.m. Itโs time for teens to join Part 2 of the SUKKAH FACE-OFF! All teens in grades 8 โ 12 (including our Religious School madrichim) will receive instructions and materials for a competitive, fast-paced Sukkah-building face-off.
3:00โ4:00 p.m.ย After our Sukkah-building competitions wrap up, weโll still be hanging out until 4 p.m. for anyone who wants to stop by, do some arts and crafts, shake the lulav and etrog, and celebrate the holiday together.
