For more than 20 years, Upper West Side synagogues and the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan have honored the victims of the Holocaust with an annual overnight Yom HaShoah Reading of the Names. The reading of names will begin at Bβnai Jeshurun, on Sunday, May 5, at 10 p.m. and continue overnight until 7 a.m. on Monday, May 6. After a two-hour break, the reading will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. Stephen Wise Free Synagogue members will read names from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6 at B’nai Jeshurun.
