The war in Israel is raging on, and more than 200 hostages are still being held in Gaza. Hear directly from Israeli family members of the hostages and eyewitness survivors of the October 7 terror attacks by Hamas. Theyโll share their stories in a discussion moderated by journalist Abby Pogrebin, and to find support in our community.
Together with the NYC Jewish Community, we will bear witness to their first-hand stories and offer a prayer for the safe return of the hostages to their homes and families.
The event will take place in the Central Synagogue sanctuary and doors will open at 6:30 pm. If you can’t attend in person, we invite you to participate virtually via our livestream.
The event is organized by UJA, the Jewish Agency, the Forum of the Families of the Hostages and Missing People, Anti Defamation League of New York (ADL-NY), American Jewish Committee of New York (AJC-NY), The New York Board of Rabbis, The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY),ย along with many partner New York synagogues.
