Dona S. Kahn is of counsel in Anderson Kill’s New York office and is a member of the firm’s Employment & Labor Group. An experienced trial lawyer, she has tried over 30 employment jury trials nationwide, representing major companies and universities in cases involving discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She also has extensive experience investigating discrimination complaints against companies, universities and non-profits. A New York State-certified mediator since 2012, she has been mediating in the courts for the past six years.
Dona rejoined Anderson Kill in 2018, having previously worked there from 1990 to 2008. She was also a partner at Harris and Kahn, where she represented management in employment matters. Previously, Dona has held roles at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she litigated antitrust and unfair trade practices.
Dona regularly lectures on employment law updates and on minimizing the exposure of liability in employment disputes. She also conducts in-house sexual harassment workshops for companies and non-profits.
