Both Frederick Douglas and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel spoke about feeling they were “praying with their feet” during their involvement in the fight for civil rights. As Jews, we are constantly and consistently implored to seek justice and pursue peace. Join Rabbi Dalia Samansky for this two-part class as we explore the roots of this imperative as a fundamental aspect of Judaism — and learn how it has inspired generations of Jews throughout our history.
