Join the Women’s Organization of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue to learn about women’s reproductive healthcare and rights! Aviva Zadoff, director of advocacy and volunteer engagement for the National Council of Jewish Women New York, will be discussing her reproductive justice work and how NCJW is activating Jews and Jewish leaders to speak out for abortion access in the New York metro area. Soup will be provided!

Please bring packaged sanitary pads to this event β€” the National Council of Jewish Women will distribute them to women in need!

Aviva Zadoff heads NJCW NY’s political advocacy work. She is also responsible for the coordination of volunteers for the organization’s various programs including their Hunger Program, The Children’s Literacy Program, The JWRC and the Back 2 School Store. Before taking on this position, Aviva was a volunteer leader at NCJW NY as the chair of its Reproductive Rights and Justice Initiative. Aviva began her career as a social work caseworker in the Bronx and then transitioned into the policy world, holding positions in several New York City government offices. She received her bachelor’s from Brandeis University and her master’ss in social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College,
