Ann-Marie Antoine worked at the Rockefeller University Child and Family Center for 23 years before joining the ECC. She obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Study. She has spent her career fostering the growth and development of young children. Ann-Marie is deeply passionate about supporting and observing the developmental milestones of young children and is in awe of the wonder and excitement children possess. Ann-Marie is a proud mother and grandmother and cherishes spending time with her 2-year-old grandson.
Marissa has her B.S. in Early Childhood/Childhood Education with a concentration in mathematics from Pace University and is currently working towards her master’s in education at Columbia University’s Teachers College. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys exploring the city, reading, playing tennis and watching movies.
After 22 years in Santa Cruz, CA, Sarah moved to New York and joined the SWFS community teaching at the Early Childhood Center.
She worked as the Lifelong Learning Coordinator and PJ Library Program Professional for Temple Beth El in Aptos, CA . With experience in Jewish Education since 1992, Sarah has taught at Jewish preschools, day schools, and congregational schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and Ceramics from Bennington College, a Master’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a Master’s in Jewish Educational Leadership from HUC-JIR. Sarah has worked with the iCenter, developing Israel education programs and as a member of its Conflict of Interest cohort.
Her daughter is an equestrian eventer attending the University of South Carolina and her son plays Division I soccer for University of California, Irvine. When not teaching, studying Hebrew or learning about Israel, Sarah enjoys walking and has developed a passion for Argentine Tango.
Ashley has been a special educator and Learning & Literacy Specialist for over 20 years. She earned her master’s degree in education/teaching literacy from Bank Street College of Education. Most recently, she’s been working privately with K–5th grade students on reading and writing remediation. She is looking forward to working with younger learners who have curious minds and are excited about life.
Erica has been teaching at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue’s Early Childhood Center since 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and master’s degrees in social work from New York University and in early childhood education from Hunter College. Erica lives in Manhattan with her husband and dog. She enjoys dancing, going to shows and checking out art exhibits. She loves playing outside, especially when there’s snow!
Suzy earned her bachelor’s in Spanish from Tufts University, a juris doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, and a master’s in education from Hunter College. She has been working as an educator since 1994. Suzy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and searching for new children’s books.
