A Huge ‘Thank You’ To Everyone Who Supported Our Spring Benefit!
In case you missed it: here’s a little taste of a magical evening honoring Michael Patterson with the Shem Tov Award.
MICHAEL PATTERSON is a devoted member of the Upper West Side Jewish community and is proud to be a Principal at Ernst & Young. Michael served as Stephen Wise Free Synagogue’s president, treasurer and trustee — and it was his financial expertise and his calm stewardship that guided our synagogue through perilous times and set it on a stable course. He and his wife Suzy have been members of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue for 30 years. Their three children attended our Early Childhood Center and Religious School, and two of them became b’nai mitzvah in Israel as part of a Stephen Wise mission. A true believer in the importance of tikkun olam, Michael and his family have participated in hurricane relief efforts in New Orleans and Coney Island, aided refugees in Europe and, over many years, volunteered and supported our Next Step Men’s Shelter. In addition to his dedication to serving EY’s clients, he is most proud of his opportunity to support the career development of the people at EY. Michael and his family embody the best of Jewish values.
