Torah Project

Our synagogue has begun writing a new Torah scroll in honor of its centennial year. We are so fortunate to be able to take part in this monumental event. The children will have the opportunity to watch the scribe work, explore the materials used, and learn more about the stories and Hebrew letters that are written in the Torah. We are excited to see what direction their interests will lead them in. We know that the journey will be enlightening!

Reggio Emilia and Jewish Values

Our school was recently featured in an article in the Jewish Week titled "An Italian Philosophy Inspires Jewish Preschools." Our director, Lori Schneider was interviewed for this article as was Mark Horowitz executive director of the Jewish Early Childhood Education Initiative.
