Evita Sokol

Director of Religious School

Evita is excited to be a part of the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue community. Evita has been working in Jewish education for over ten years in Jewish summer camps, community centers, and synagogue schools. She received a Masters in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and her RJE, Reform Jewish Educator, title through the Union of Reform Judaism. Most recently, she has been a participant of the Leadership Institute for Congregational School Principals. She is also an active member of the Metropolitan Educators' Council (MEC), The National Association of Temple Educators (NATE), and the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). Evita looks forward to bringing her knowledge and experiences to the families of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue.
